A native of Monroe,
Louisiana, Irvin now calls Indianapolis, Indiana home. He was an officer
with the active and reserved Army Forces from 1977-97, a Department of
Defense Civilian since 1989 and currently works as a Computer Programmer
Analyst for the Defense Financial and Accounting Services at Fort Ben
Harrison.
He has a BS degree in Physical Education from Northeast
Louisiana University, Monroe, Louisiana and a Masters of Science degree in
Communications from Ball State University, Muncie, IN.
Irvin has
been a member of the Diploettes, ITC Club for 10 year and is the past
Vice President of ITC Division II. He is currently the Vice President of Council One.
For the past five years his
initiative to take ITC to the youths and bring youths to ITC has
prospered.
He enjoys life, fishing, hunting, singing, running, chess,
bowling, and basketball.

Angela Denelsia Walker

Angela is a native of Monroe, Louisiana, she now calls Indianapolis, Indiana home.
She has been a member of Diploettes Club for 2 years and is currently
Nominations Chairman for Council 1.
She
has an Associate of Science degree in Health Claims Examination from Indiana
Business College. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant from 1997 to 2003
for numerous assisted living facilities and Senior Living Communities
throughout Indianapolis. She also volunteered for OB-GYN/Pediatrics at
Wishard/Riley Hospital, Indianpolis and preoperative and post operative
care at Hancock Memorial Hospital - Greenfield.
She is
single - looking to Marry. Her hobbies include eating, cooking, dancing,
traveling, poetry and music - violin and piano.

Connie A. Patsiner, SC

Connie has been an ITC member since 1986 and enjoyed every
challenge offered during those years! She has held each office at club level and been
Council Vice-President and President. Currently she is the Treasurer of Indianapolis
Club and Secretary/Treasurer of Council 1.
Her latest challenge is serving as Conference Coordinator for the exciting Region
Conference, which will be held at the Indianapolis Hilton this June. She urges everyone
to make sure the dates of June 9 to 11 are on their calendar – it will be a great
conference full of interesting workshops, networking with old and new ITC friends and
good food!
A native of Virginia, Connie has lived in Indiana for over 30 years and enjoys her
adopted state. She is semi-retired, serving as Director Emeritus of the Indiana Visual
and Audio Network. IVAN, the shortened version, is a government agency that provides
audio-visual materials for public libraries in the state of Indiana.
She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from IU and feels her ITC
training was a great benefit in these endeavors.
Besides reading, needlework and yoga, spending time with her spouse Jerry and any of the
five kids or two grandkids fills her days and her heart.

Martha Barkhau

Martha is a continuing member for 30+
years, she was a speech contestant at International held
in Vancouver, this was the 1st and only preliminary "impromtu"
test held. You can not imagine being in a room with
over 50 preliminary contestants, each doing their own
thing from meditating, yoga and music everywhere
making it hard to consentrate, and then realizing
later some had a basic speech prepared that could be
used in many ways.
She has enjoyed being a member in the Greenwood, Quill
& Gavel and the Diploettes ITC Clubs. She is currently
member to the Powerful Speakers Chapter. She has
experienced being an officer on club and council levels.
The Genesis Book which was started by Lavona Moore
and Barbara Brown passed on to her and has become a pet
project and her intention is to pass this on to
another person at the next regional conference. It has
been a privilege to continue with this project that
was started so many years ago when we were part of the
Great Lakes Region, became the Mid-America Region now
is the Heart of America Region. It is the history of this
region, its councils and clubs.
She and her husband Bill have enjoyed 52 years of
married life and visited, when time permited, with their son
Kurt in Washington, IN and their daughter Kathy in
Norfolk,VA.
She is a members of St.Paul's Lutheran
Church and has held several offices, served as VBS
and Sunday School teacher.
They also enjoy being Oasis Tutors for 2nd graders in the Perry Township
Schools.
She believes that ITC has given her the opportunity to continue
her education, share information, and treasure the friends made
in pursuit of self development and excellence.

Mary Jane Mc Conahay, AC

Mary Jane is a member of Indianapolis
Club which chartered 3/3/71. She was in a formation group 2 years prior (1969-1970)
as they attempted to get the required 16 members to charter.
In August 2007, she joined then Diploettes Club as the Indianapolis Club chose to lay out for a year.
She has participated in many speech contests culminating with placing at the
International level.
She has won various ITC Writing Contests in fiction, non-fiction
and poetry. Also, she has held all club offices except treasurer, several times.
She has served on many various committees, at all four levels of ITC, and chaired many of them.
An accomplished writer, she's had articles published in the former ITC magazine as well as the region and council
newsletters.

Gwendolyn King, SC

Gwendolyn is a member of this club since 1985. She has held every office at club level and is currently the Secretary-Treasurer.
She has chaired several committees at Heart of America Region level. She is looking forward to being a retiree from the Defense Finance and
Accounting Service at Indianapolis. Although she's not a charter member, she too certainly was instrumental in establishing the initial
and current stability and foundation of the club. BR>

Carolyn Shaw

Carolyn is a member of this club since 1985. She has held every office at club level and is currently the Delegate to
council. She has chaired several committees at Heart of America Region level. She is a retiree from the Defense Finance and
Accounting Service at Indianapolis. Although she's not a charter member, she certainly was instrumental in establishing the initial
and current stability and foundation of the club.

Rhonda Thompson-Moore, CTA

Rhonda is a born again Christian whose life is dedicated to service. She is a member
of Greater Northwest Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her heart belongs to husband, Elton K. Moore.
Rhonda is a Graduate of Indiana University with a Degree in Business Management and
Administration with a Minor in Computer Science. She earned her certification as a "Life Coach" through the Coach Training Alliance (CTA) Institute. She has been the Director of "Living Your Best Life". Coaching and Mentoring Program for the past five years.
As a Software Engineer for the Dept of Defense, she has savored her career for 26 years.
Rhonda enjoys Photography, Hiking, Biking, Reading, Rose Gardening, Entertaining
and Traveling. Lifestyle Practices: Open, Willing and Honest.
